Terms of Use Cauris Wallet

Introduction: These terms of use ("Terms") govern the use of the  mobile application ("the Application"), developed and operated by Servichain Sàrl. CAURIS is an easy and accessible wallet built to push mass adoption of digital assets within people and small businesses.By using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Application.

Use of the Application: You are authorized to use the Application only in accordance with these Terms and for legitimate purposes. You must not use the Application for illegal or unauthorized purposes. You must also not use the Application to harass, intimidate, or invade the privacy of others.

Security: You are responsible for the security of your user account and password. You must not share your password with others. If you discover or suspect fraudulent activity on your user account, you must immediately inform the company.

Data Protection: The company is committed to protecting the privacy of user data. The Application complies with applicable data protection standards. The company may collect, store, and use information about your use of the Application in accordance with its privacy policy.

Services: Cauris Wallet is a wallet software, for digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, virtual commodities and NFTs (“Digital Assets”). You are solely in control of and responsible for your Digital Assets and private keys, and accordingly you can authorize transactions from your wallet address. You expressly acknowledge and agree that as Cauris Wallet users own their wallet, you are solely responsible for your activity and any risk of loss at all times. Cauris Wallet allows you to: Generate wallet addresses and associated private keys that you may use to send and receive digital assets;Swap/Trade digital assets through DApp functionality made available by third party service provider(s);View digital asset price information made available by third party service provider(s); and Broadcast Digital Asset transaction data to various blockchains supported by Cauris Wallet without requiring you to download or install the associated blockchain-based software to your local device.

Transactions and fees: All transactions made through the Application are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment network or financial institution. The company does not have control over the transaction process and will not be held responsible for any delays or errors in transactions.The company may charge fees for certain transactions or services provided through the Application. You will be informed of any applicable fees before completing a transaction. The company reserves the right to modify the fees at any time. If you continue to use the Application after the publication of fee modifications, this means that you accept the new fees.When conducting virtual currency transactions, there may be associated transaction fees such as mining fees, which are required by the virtual currency system or blockchain network. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a sufficient balance in your wallet and/or "gas" to complete transactions before initiating them. You acknowledge and agree that we will not be held liable for any losses or failed transactions resulting from incorrectly set transaction fees (i.e. too low or too high) or insufficient funds or gas associated with your wallet address. Additionally, we do not have access to your or anyone else's transactions.

Liability: The company will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of use, resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.

Modifications: The company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The modifications will take effect upon publication on the Application. If you continue to use the Application after the publication of modifications, this means that you accept the new Terms.

Termination: The company may terminate your use of the Application at any time if you do not comply with these Terms.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg and any legal action arising from these Terms must be brought before the competent courts of Luxembourg.By using the Application, you accept these Terms.
